Zombie Impressionism

ImageDay of the Dead

A.V. Club shared several impressionistic paintings depicting the scenes from famous zombie movies today. The writer remarked that he believed that Artist George Pfau’s paintings were a metaphor for the mortification of the modern art world and possibly because zombies are neat. The writer says the images run the “gamut from The Omega Man to The Walking Dead.” The Omega Man is not a zombie film. For one, the creatures are not dead. They also feed on plasma, not bodies or brains, which makes them more vampire in nature.
